**Welder (Fremont, CA)** **Schedule:** 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime Mandatory) **Compensation:** $27-$30/hr (Based on experience) **Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled **Welder** to join our production team in Fremont, CA. This role involves precision welding of low-carbon steel and stainless steel containers used in high-performance, high-vacuum, and high-pressure applications. Quality and accuracy are critical-your welds will be helium leak-tested and held to tight tolerances. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform high-quality GTAW (TIG) welding on low-carbon and stainless steel components + Assemble and weld vacuum-rated containers to exact specifications + Ensure welds pass helium leak testing for vacuum/pressure integrity + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings + Operate a variety of metal fabrication tools, including: + Metal shear + Band saw + Cut-off saw + Manual mill + General hand and shop tools + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment + Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed **Qualifications:** + Proven TIG welding experience, particularly with stainless steel + Comfortable working with tight tolerances and precision fabrication + Skilled in using metalworking and general shop equipment + Able to read technical blueprints and fabrication drawings + Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required + Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, etc.) are a plus **Preferred Experience:** + Experience fabricating vacuum chambers or pressure-rated components + Familiarity with helium leak testing procedures **Pay Details:** $27.00 to $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
