Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – Vascular
Location: Greenville, SC 29605
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day Shift, 5x8-Hour)
Pay Rate: $2,362.50 per week (Including Stipends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality vascular diagnostic imaging across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role supports accurate clinical diagnosis by producing clear, precise ultrasound images and collaborating closely with the medical team.
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial, venous, and carotid exams.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality.
Document all procedures and findings accurately in EMR and PACS systems.
Support physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures when required.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
Travel between assigned facilities (Patewood and Laurens) and participate in on-call rotation (every 3rd weekend at Laurens or Hillcrest).
Float to other qualified units or campuses as needed per facility policy.
Qualifications:
ARDMS – RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in vascular ultrasound – Preferred
Proficient knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound principles.
