Job Description

We are hiring a Travel RN /Travel LPN (T-RN/T-LPN) for one of our clients in St. Jonhnsbury, VT.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform specimen collection processing and ensure proper handling and documentation.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with colleagues and document patient information accurately.
• Provide triage services to prioritize patient needs in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, including gastric lavage when necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care, particularly in internal medicine and behavioral health contexts.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, home community care, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems.

Experience required for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in outpatient care, internal medicine, or behavioral health preferred.
• Familiarity with specimen collection processing techniques is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in clinical settings.
• Experience with triage processes and patient management strategies is desirable.

Work hours:

• Shift: First shift
• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Meal: 30 minutes

Notes:

• Every other weekend or one weekend day per week will be required.
• Some holidays are also a must
