Position: Technical Architect - Java/Azure
Location: Virginia (2 days/week office presence)

PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of Technical Architect - Java/Azure for one of their clients.
Summary:
The ideal candidate must have experience designing, executing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise application development with Java (preferably Java 8). Collaborate with Business SMEs and Product Owners to review requirements and turn them into technical standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient architectures for Java-based applications on Azure.
Lead the development of cloud-native applications using Azure services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture designs and solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and Client's technology standards.
Required Qualifications:
18+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
Expertise in Java (Java 8 and above) and Azure (Azure Architecture, Azure DevOps).
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker).
Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
