Salary: $80,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Experience in IT roles within manufacturing or industrial settings is highly preferred
- Strong enthusiasm for technology with extensive knowledge of computer systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues independently
- Exceptional skills in computer and system administration, particularly with Microsoft clients and servers
- Solid understanding of basic networking components and peripherals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Availability to work full-time on-site, including possible after-hours support
- Strong programming knowledge, preferably in .NET environments (VB.NET, C#)
- Familiarity with Excel VBA and statistical analysis software (Excel, SPSS, SAS is a plus)
- Understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN networking
- Previous end-user support experience across diverse software solutions; EDI experience a plus
- Experience with technical writing and procedure documentation
- In-depth knowledge of workstation, server, and network diagnostics and repairs
- Basic understanding of DNS fundamentals
- Prior experience with phone systems installation and maintenance
- Experience supporting VMWare environments, including Vcenter and Vsphere
- Skills in supporting Windows Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2022
- Experience in planning and maintaining backup and disaster recovery systems in a Veeam environment
Responsibilities: - Provide first-level support for end-users, troubleshooting computer hardware, internet connectivity, email, and software issues
- Oversee user support for operational software and system integrations
- Collaborate with our managed services provider to maintain the companys network infrastructure
- Ensure the functionality of backup and disaster recovery systems
- Support administrative and operational printer networks, DUO 2-factor authentication, VPN, and Power Automate workflows
- Manage company communication systems, including phone systems and Office 365 products
- Perform user maintenance tasks, such as setting up new users and configuring their hardware and software requirements
- Conduct training sessions for users on Office 365 applications, phishing awareness, and network tool usage
- Maintain an internal help desk ticketing system to enhance user experience and identify improvement areas
- Create and update documentation for procedures and tasks
- Oversee the companys EDI functionalities
- Provide support for various software programs, including Aeros ERP, Sage, and others
- Build and nurture relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers
- Assist with the implementation of our Environment Management Systems (EMS) to minimize operational impacts on the environment
