Preschool Teacher Beach Montessori is looking for strong and reliable substitute teachers. Duties include but are not limited to leading activities, supervising playtime, and employing a variety of educational techniques to teach children (storytelling, educational play). Must be able to regularly communicate with parents to understand children's background and psyche to best help children. Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Must be a team player and able to collaborate with other educators.
A strong work ethic is a must- you must be reliable, as not just your fellow educators rely on you but also the children. Early childhood education is the foundation for healthy, well-rounded adults, they are our future; love, kindness, and patience are just as important as teaching boundaries, and good behavior.
We use the Montessori Method to meet children's academic needs and Biblical principles to meet children's spiritual needs and encourage civic duties. We use a multi-aged classroom structure.
- At least 18 years old of age
- Dependable, reliable, flexible, loving, caring, and overall a team player with a positive personality and can communicate well with children, parents, and the staff
- At least 6 months to one year of teaching experience with toddlers, infants, or young school-age children in the classroom.
Part-time positions are available.
The pay rate depends on the amount of experience and shall be discussed during a scheduled in-person interview.
