Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting the month-end close process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve accounting issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or CPA candidate required
1–3 years of public accounting experience required
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
