Position: Spanish Translation Specialist Location: Huntington Beach, CA (Remote)
Pay: $20 to $24/hour
Experience: 2+ years of written translation experience.
Education: - High school or GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Certification/Licensure, Interpreter/Translator Certificate, and/or Certificate of Competency from an approved Interpreter/Translator training program.
Type: Part-time; Temporary
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 10-20 hours a week

Spanish Translation Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team! The
Spanish Translation Specialist is responsible for using their knowledge of two languages and cultural awareness to translate text from English to Spanish.
Job Description: - Perform translation of written text from English to Spanish (and vice versa) in various business and social settings.
- Translate materials and documents, such as letters, pamphlets, brochures, and marketing literature.
- Ensure that translations are complete and accurate and that there are no additions/omissions to the original text.
- Trans-create materials in language to capture the essence and sensitivities of a particular culture.
- Edit, standardize, proofread, revise, and finalize translated material prepared by other employees and contractors.
- Organize translated material and finalize translation according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Ensure translated texts meet all relevant editorial requirements, i.e., in terms of layout, style, font, etc.
- Use Jira tickets to document progress and follow jobs through workflow within established SLAs.
- Utilize translation tools and related software to complete materials and maintain the translation database.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements: - Knowledge of healthcare terminology is a plus
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong proofreading and written communication skills.
- Independently motivated self-starter who can prioritize work assignments.
- Team player willing to help and support colleagues.
- Ability to learn quickly and describe/explain/educate healthcare coverage and services to colleagues.
