Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to support the agency’s mission, strategic plan goal areas, and safety of the traveling public by guiding the successful planning, design, and construction of Sound Transit projects within the Seattle-Bellevue-Tacoma Metropolitan Area where there are interactions with WSDOT facilities. The Engineering Manager plays a critical role in protecting WSDOT’s infrastructure and operations while facilitating major regional transit investments. Operating within the Regional Transit Coordination Division, this position leads the development and implementation of policies that promote consistent, efficient project delivery and alignment with WSDOT objectives. This position is responsible for advancing projects that enhance or expand high-capacity transit services and comply with applicable local, state, and federal standards for state highway facilities, balancing agency priorities with external partner goals.
