General Summary:
Job Overview:
We are looking for motivated Software Engineers to join the Qualcomm Infrastructure Wi-Fi Connectivity group, to be part of defining the next generation WLAN products. As part of this group, you will be responsible for:
Software architecture and design for WLAN features in embedded platforms
Work with the Opensource community and upstream the ath12k driver changes to the Linux kernel.org
Working with multiple cross-functional driver teams in feature architecture, defining kernel/user software interfaces
Work with connectivity technologies (Ethernet, Wi-Fi - 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth etc.)
Work with the largest Wi-Fi AP vendors in the world to develop and launch tomorrows next-gen Wi-Fi products
Knowledge of wired/wireless technologies and IP networking is highly desirable, but not necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the one or more of the following
2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++
Exposure or experience working with Networking protocols/Embedded Systems
Device Drivers, Embedded Software
Networking drivers and protocol stacks
Multi-threading and Linux kernel internals
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
