Position Title: Senior Director / Nurse Educator (Hybrid)

Compensation:

• Travel Rate: $3,548.50/week
• Local Rate: $2,887.50/week

Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Senior Director / Nurse Educator (Hybrid) for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive nursing education strategy aligned with organizational priorities and evidence-based practices.
• Direct systemwide initiatives for orientation, onboarding, competency assessments, and ongoing professional development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor for workforce development and nursing education.
• Establish and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure equitable access to educational resources that address diverse learning needs.
• Promote specialty certifications and support advanced practice role development.
• Leverage data and clinical partnerships to drive competency improvement and continuous learning.
• Integrate modern teaching methodologies, including simulation, virtual learning, and technology-based platforms.
• Design and track metrics to evaluate program effectiveness with focus on clinical outcomes and staff engagement.
• Perform other duties within the scope of systemwide nursing education as required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required: Ph.D., Ed.D., or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) .
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license .
• Nursing leadership certification.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
