Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security on a MOVIE SET they protect. A
Security Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, crew, cast, guest or employees on set.
A RELIABLE VEHICLE IS NECESSARY FOR THIS JOB. Qualifications/Requirements: - Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
- Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
- Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training
- Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Must have a professional appearance
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation and own a vehicle
- Experience not required, but preferred
