Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Montreal,QC, Canada

Duration: Contract

Term: 6+ months

Job Description:

Experience Desired: 8+ Years.

  • Lead with agility: You'll be the champion of our Agile methodology, guiding multiple Scrum teams through all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate success: You'll orchestrate key Scrum events-from Sprint Planning and Daily Scrums to Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives ensuring seamless collaboration and clear communication.
  • Remove roadblocks: You'll proactively identify and eliminate impediments, empowering your teams to focus on what they do best: building exceptional products.
  • Drive continuous improvement: You'll analyze team performance, track key metrics, and use your insights to help teams grow, adapt, and increase, their velocity.
  • Collaborate across the business: You'll be the key liaison between Product Owners, IT Delivery Managers, and other critical teams such as Change Management, Application and Quality Engineering as well as Security to ensure high-value software is delivered consistently.
  • Experience: You have at least 8 years of experience as a certified Scrum Master and a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  • Technical foundation: Your background isn't just in management-you have hands-on experience in software development and as a technology/IT business analyst.
  • Expertise: You possess an in-depth, expert-level understanding of the Scrum framework and a modern Agila concents like Kanban and Scaled Agile for Enterprises.
  • Remove roadblocks: You'll proactively identify and eliminate impediments, empowering your teams to focus on what they do best: building exceptional products.
  • Drive continuous improvement: You'll analyze team performance, track key metrics, and use your insights to help teams grow, adapt, and increase their velocity.

  • Problem-solving mindset: You can tackle the big picture while keeping an eye on the details, using your expertise to facilitate group workshops and problem-solving sessions.
  • Communication & influence: You excel at working with and influencing a variety of stakeholders, from business partners to vendors, to drive alignment and project success.
  • Tool savvy: You are a pro with Agile planning tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Kanban Boards.
