Restoration Technician
Location: Austin, TX
Type: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
Reports to: Mitigation Project Manager
Overview
We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Restoration Technician to join our field team. You'll respond to water, fire, mold, and other property damage emergencies-helping restore homes and businesses back to pre-loss condition. This is a field-based role (daily travel within and around the Austin area) requiring reliability, physical endurance, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
What You'll Do - Perform demolition, cleanup, and restoration work on water/fire/mold-affected properties
- Operate drying and extraction equipment (e.g. air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters)
- Document work with notes and photos using job management software
- Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as needed
- Maintain clean workspaces and company vehicles
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response
What You Bring - High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- IICRC WRT/ASD certifications preferred
