Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (Travel Assignment Only)
Location: Syracuse, NY (Travel candidates only – must reside outside a 100-mile radius)
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Weekly Pay: $2,300/week

ResponsibilitiesAdminister positive pressure and aerosol therapies
Initiate, monitor, and maintain oxygen therapy
Assist with continuous mechanical ventilation management
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as required
Conduct pulmonary function testing
Perform radial arterial punctures
Provide comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care setting with minimal supervision
Minimum 2 years of post–A.A.S. acute care clinical experience
Ability to perform most patient care functions independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated experience in fast-paced acute care environments
Education: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy (required)
Licensure: Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration (required)
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance
