Required Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients while upholding our facility's highest standards and patient-centered philosophy
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and implement effective interventions tailored to individual patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments with precision, while vigilantly monitoring patient responses and vital telemetry data
• Provide inspiring leadership and mentorship to the healthcare team, fostering a culture of excellence
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Advocate passionately for patients, ensuring their rights, preferences, and dignity are consistently respected
• Maintain meticulous and comprehensive patient records that meet all regulatory and quality standards
• Actively participate in developing and implementing innovative, evidence-based care plans
• Educate and empower patients and families with the knowledge and skills needed for effective health management and care procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid Washington D.C. Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification strongly preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role involves a dynamic clinical environment focused on cardiac monitoring and care. You may experience extended periods of standing or sitting, use of specialized telemetry equipment, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and potential movement throughout the hospital setting.
