Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Independent Property Public Adjuster to join our team as a contractor. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are passionate about advocating for policyholders and have a deep understanding of property insurance claims. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule and workload while representing policyholders to ensure they receive a fair and accurate settlement for their property losses.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Analysis & Interpretation: Thoroughly review and analyze homeowners' and commercial property insurance policies to determine the extent of coverage, limitations, and exclusions.
Claim Documentation & Filing: Accurately prepare, document, and submit claims on behalf of policyholders, ensuring compliance with insurance company requirements and industry standards.
On-Site Damage Assessment: Perform on-site inspections to assess property damage, gather necessary documentation (e.g., photographs, measurements), and prepare comprehensive reports and damage estimates.
Negotiation & Settlement: Negotiate with insurance company adjusters to achieve fair and equitable settlements that align with the policyholder's best interests.
Client Liaison & Advocacy: Serve as the primary advocate and point of contact for policyholders, clearly communicating claim status, next steps, and resolving any concerns throughout the claims process.
Compliance & Record Keeping: Maintain organized and thorough records of all communications, inspections, and agreements to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.
Industry Knowledge & Compliance: Stay informed on changes in insurance regulations, industry best practices, and relevant legislative updates to provide the highest level of service.
