SeekTeachers is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Primary PE teacher on behalf of our client in Shenzhen, China. 

Our client is a coeducational, British bilingual (English and Mandarin) day and boarding school for Pre School to Prep 7 pupils. The school is aim to provide a pre-eminent dual language accredited Prep school to Chinese nationals and expatriates in the Shenzhen, China region. The school follows a blended bilingual programme with English first language teachers and Chinese bilingual teachers in Pre K, Pre School, and Preparatory School (Prep 1 7). 

Qualifications:

*University degree (BA/B.Sc) or equivalent

*Teaching Qualification (B.Ed/M.Ed/PGCE/QTS) or equivalent

*At least two years of relevant teaching experience

*Native English speaker

Job Description:

- Plan, deliver and assess engaging PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

- Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN).

- Introduce and teach a range of physical activities, sports, and movement skills.

- Promote the development of motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and fair play.

- Monitor and evaluate pupils’ progress in physical education.

- Provide feedback to pupils to help them improve performance and understanding.

- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.

- Enforce rules and safety procedures during all physical activities.

- Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities.

- Support or lead school sports teams in competitions and tournaments.

- Coordinate school sports days and other physical activity events.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
