**Job Description:**
We are looking for a Neonatologist to take care of newborn babies in a Level II NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The main responsibilities include:
- Caring for newborns who need Level II NICU support.
- Attending births that are high-risk or C-section deliveries.
- Taking care of the newborn nursery, including healthy babies when pediatricians are not available.
- Doing rounds in the hospital during the daytime.
- Being on call from home overnight.
- Working closely with nurses and other staff.
- Helping to improve the quality of care and coordination of services.
- Supporting newborns with resuscitation and stabilization when needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology – THIS IS NECESSARY.
- Must have a Georgia medical license (or be willing to get one) – THIS IS NECESSARY.
- Must have completed a Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (by the time you start) – THIS IS NECESSARY.
- Must have experience or training in Level II NICU care – THIS IS NECESSARY.
- Must get DEA certification before starting.
