Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate, self-directed, and organized individuals to support students in school-based settings . These are full-time positions aligned with the school day schedule.
As a Paraprofessional , you will play an essential role in supporting teachers and students by assisting with classroom instruction, behavior management, and student supervision. Under the direction of certified educators and school staff, you’ll help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student success.
Provide support to students with special needs and/or behavioral challenges
Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom routines
Monitor and manage student behavior
Model and encourage positive social interactions
Support students through daily transitions and routines
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s degree or 60 college credits preferred
If you do not have the required college credits, we offer a 20-hour training program to obtain your Paraprofessional Competency Certification
Experience working with children or students is required
Reliable transportation is required
