Adelphi is seeking a Medical Staff Services Department Director to provide services at a facility in Hilo, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will provide both onsite and remote support for the Medical Staff Services Department, and will oversee department optimization, staff training, and strategic planning, working autonomously and collaboratively with key stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience serving at a Department Director level supporting Medical Staff Services.
• Skilled in working autonomously and leading teams in complex environments.
• Proficient in the MD-Staff platform.
• Ability to provide onsite and remote services as determined by the facility.
Responsibilities:
• Assess, optimize, and oversee the credentialing, peer review processes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the credentialing process, including initial appointments, reappointments, and granting of clinical privileges.
• Assess and develop a strategic plan for optimization of MD-Staff and MDStat systems, including staff training and stakeholder engagement.
• Populate, maintain and update MD-Staff credentialing software, as appropriate.
• Assess key opportunities for the Medical Staff Services Department related to compliance, efficiency, data management, staff training, structure.
• Support active and future project initiatives within the Department.
• Administer and recommend software and technical solutions to optimize credentialing, payor enrollment and related workflows.
• Oversee all communications and reporting from the Medical Staff Services Department, including informational newsletters, educational documents, & memos.
• Develop and cultivate working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate awareness of key issues and decision-making.
• Participate in and oversee highly confidential peer-to-peer review meetings.
• Any other duties as assigned.
