We are seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Medicine Physician (Nocturnist) to provide locum tenens coverage at a leading healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK.
Assignment Details
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
Schedule: Must be flexible to work both day and night shifts as needed
Call: Rotating call schedule
Coverage Requirement: Must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care during night shifts
Admit, manage, and coordinate care for a variety of adult medical conditions
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Respond to nighttime emergencies and rapid responses
Accurately document all patient encounters in the facility’s EMR
Participate in rotating call coverage as needed
Requirements
Board Certification:
American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM)
Licensure: Active, unrestricted Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
Flexibility: Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
Ability to work 7 consecutive shifts, ideally 2 weeks per month
