Job Description

$1,000 Sign on Bonus

At The Lutheran Home, we are seeking a team-oriented, full-time Laundry Attendant to join our healthcare community.  In this important role, you will interact with the older adults we serve, ensuring they have fresh linens and clean clothes to enhance their comfort and dignity. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:  
  • Deliver and store residents’ personal items and clean linens.
  • Remove articles from washer or dryer and hang or fold them per procedure. 
  • Clean machine filters and keep laundry area clean.
  • Examine and sort clothing and linens according to cleaning technique required.
  • Identify items that need mending.
  • Mark resident clothing and personal linens with names.
  • Comply with safety procedures when handling chemicals, biohazards, and soiled laundry.
  • Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy.
