The Kindergarten Aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing, faith-centered, and academically enriching environment for young learners. This role includes assisting with instructional tasks, supervising students, and helping to integrate Catholic values into the daily life of the classroom.
Support the teacher in implementing lessons and classroom activities.
Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Help manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions.
Supervise students during recess, lunch, bathroom breaks, and other non-instructional times.
Assist in preparing classroom materials, setting up activities, and maintaining a clean and organized learning space.
Provide emotional and social support to young children as they develop independence and responsibility.
Participate in school liturgies, prayer, and other faith-based activities.
Model Christian values and promote the mission of Catholic education.
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
Practicing Catholic or respectful of Catholic beliefs, values, and traditions.
Patience, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
