Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a Junior Accountant to support our government contracting client. This role will provide hands-on support in accounts payable, reconciliations, and audit preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a solid foundation in accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with audit preparation and support documentation requests
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with policies and procedures
• Collaborate with team members and support month-end close activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 1+ years of accounting experience required
• QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
