Position Summary:
As a 1099 Independent Handyman with SnapFix365, you’ll complete a variety of residential and light commercial repair and maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repairs. You’ll receive work orders through our platform and choose jobs that fit your schedule and skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete assigned repair and maintenance jobs on-site at customer properties
Communicate with customers professionally and clearly about job scope, timeline, and progress
Diagnose issues and offer effective repair solutions
Use your own tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently and safely
Take before-and-after photos and complete basic job reporting through the SnapFix365 platform
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Types of Work You Might Perform:
Drywall patching and painting
Faucet, toilet, and sink repairs
Electrical fixture replacements
Door, window, and lock repairs
Assembly and installations (TVs, shelves, appliances, etc.)
General home maintenance and odd jobs
Requirements:
Proven handyman experience (3+ years preferred)
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Own tools and equipment
Smartphone with internet access for job communication and scheduling
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Must be authorized to work as an independent contractor in the U.S.
