Job Description

Now hiring a Human Resource Generalist  to carry out the daily functions of the HR department for a manufacturing & fabrication company in Cantonment FL. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Talent acquisition: sourcing candidates, attending career fairs, and managing the application process
• Employee onboarding and offboarding  
• Maintaining and fostering good employee relations by addressing employee concerns and promoting a positive work environment
• Administering employee benefits programs
• Managing the employee evaluation schedule and process
• Participating in dispute mediations, performing investigations, attending disciplinary and termination meetings
• Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Being the primary backup for payroll processing
• Performing other duties as assigned

Schedule:
Monday - Friday     7am - 3:30pm

Pay:
Starts at: $28/hr.+ (Depending on level of Experience)

Requirements:

• Must be very detail oriented and conscientious
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior HR generalist experience
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
