Job Description

Talis Group’s client is a Louisville law firm established for several decades in this region, with a reputation for family culture. This nationally recognized firm is hiring a Family Law Attorney to join their team. This medium sized, growing firm offers full benefit package including health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability and 401K. This firm also has bonus plan for new business development activities and exceeding billable hour requirements. Base salary: $80-$95k

Highlighted Duties:

• Manage full case load of divorce, paternity, custody, child support and other family law related cases.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, motions, etc. as required.
• Communicate often with clients, providing case updates and legal direction.
• Conduct legal research as needed to develop appropriate and motions arguments.
• Work closely with Family Law Partner taking direction on high asset cases.

Highlighted Requirements:

• Kentucky License in good standing required
• Seeking 3+ years of family law experience. 
• Must have experience managing substantial case load with staff and management support.
• Prefer experience with high volume practice.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills required.
• Must be able to handle high asset cases.
