Job Description

We’re hiring a housekeeping manager to provide excellent sanitation and customer service to our hotel guests. You’ll be responsible for leading the housekeeping staff, ensuring team members perform their job duties to our high standards, and keeping the housekeeping department well-stocked with cleaning supplies. Applicants should have hospitality experience, enjoy their work, and demonstrate a commitment to meeting and exceeding guest expectations. Previous experience in a supervisory role is required. • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed
• Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs
• Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations
• Supervise housekeeping staff as they perform daily assignments, including cleaning all guest rooms and public areas
• Order cleaning supplies as needed, control inventory and manage the department budget
• Be able to cover shifts or find replacement
• In charge of hiring people for housekeeping

Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of experience as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping manager, or similar
• Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
• A High school diploma or GED is required
• The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills
• Over 2 years of experience in guest services or hospitality

About Company: Orangewood Inn & Suites in Austin ,TX is seeking housekeepers duties are: must clean guest rooms and common areas in accordance with company standards. Housekeepers must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and must frequently walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Housekeepers are required to work with various cleaning chemicals and must use these chemicals safely and within the manufacturer's guidelines.
