Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter to care for our two children, a 9-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, in our home in Detroit, MI. The children are self-sufficient and will be in bed during most of the sitting time. This position involves minimal responsibilities including occasional light meal preparation. You will also be supervising our 6-month-old cavapoo puppy, Mako, who is well-behaved and loved by the children.

This opportunity could develop into an ongoing role, as we seek a sitter available on weeknights to accommodate our schedule that sometimes includes evening events. Occasionally, assistance in transporting the children to their activities may be required.

You must be comfortable around dogs, possess excellent communication skills, and adhere to safety standards. Experience with older children and pets is preferred.
