Job Description

We are searching for a highly motivated applicant who is capable of working full-time and possesses strong organizational abilities to join our growing firm as an associate attorney. You will create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives for health care for clients and their families. To guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the client's intentions, this role demands a high degree of detail. Advising clients about funding their plan requires knowledge of various types of financial accounts. Responsibilities:

• Drafts Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Directives for Health Care.
• Researches and drafts deeds.
• Applies for tax identification numbers.
• Guides clients signing estate planning documents.
• Helps clients by keeping clients informed of case progress.
• Gathers and organizes client information.
• Inputs information into practice management software.
• Maintains electronic and hard copy files.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes law firm mission by completing special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
• J.D. is required.
• The ability to utilize advanced features of Microsoft products.
• Keen attention to detail.
