ERP Testing Lead (Manual/Automation)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Testing Lead (12+ years) with a strong background in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, CGI Advantage , or other major platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing QA strategy, leading UAT coordination, and executing both manual and automation testing for large-scale enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end testing efforts for ERP implementations, enhancements, or upgrades
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders for UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution
• Develop detailed test strategies, plans, and test cases for ERP modules
• Execute and manage manual and/or automation testing cycles
• Track and manage test defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail , or equivalent
• Work with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, PMs) to ensure alignment on testing objectives
• Lead and mentor QA team members to ensure quality deliverables

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of total QA/testing experience with at least 5+ years in a QA lead role
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems PeopleSoft, SAP, CGI Advantage (at least one is required)
• Proven experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in large enterprise settings
• Proficient in manual testing and at least basic familiarity with automated testing tools
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, QA methodologies, and defect lifecycle
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in public sector or government ERP projects
• Previous engagements with local government clients
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• QA/Testing certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent
