We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Enrolled Agent to join a well-respected Tax Resolution firm in Encino, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities to resolve tax disputes, audits, and compliance challenges.
- Prepare and review a wide range of tax returns, including individual, corporate, and partnership filings.
- Develop and implement customized tax resolution strategies, including offers in compromise, penalty abatement, and installment agreements.
- Conduct in-depth tax research to ensure compliance and identify the best solutions for clients.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to gather necessary documentation, provide updates, and explain strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with federal and state tax laws and regulations to offer expert guidance.
Qualifications
- Active Enrolled Agent (EA) certification in good standing.
- At least 3 years of experience in tax resolution and tax preparation.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax codes and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, ProSeries, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with offers in compromise, audits, and other IRS dispute resolution processes.
- Familiarity with multi-state and international tax matters.
- Background in litigation support or forensic accounting is a plus.
