Are you semi-retired or looking for some flexible Part Time short haul work? Do you want to work only when convenient for you with no minimum hour requirements? The Forward Group, Inc. is actively hiring Part Time/Flex CDL A drivers who prioritize safety and a ridiculously flexible work/life balance. Compensation is $24/HR + you accrue vacation time just like a Full Time CDL driver! We are a local small business with the benefits of a large company. We haul exclusively for Amazon and are looking for professional, safety focused CDL Class A drivers.

What you’ll do:

• Haul Amazon loads (no touch freight) using state of the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology
• Service round-trip routes that last 10-38 HRS depending on your preference
• Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place

What you’ll need:

• If you can't drive without smoking in a truck or you aren't interested in cleaning trucks at the end of every shift then DO NOT APPLY- we care about our team and our equipment!
• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A)
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public. To understand highway traffic signs and signals in English.
• Must be able to properly fill out reports and enter information into Apps and Newest Technology Provided by Amazon.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical and Drug Test
• Ability to effectively learn and operate GPS enabled software and hardware.
• Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications.
