The CT Technician operates Siemens and GE scanners in a fast-paced emergency department setting, performing a variety of CT procedures on patients ranging from infants to geriatrics. The role involves working with code stroke and some trauma cases, requiring proficiency in Siemens scanner operation and experience with various CT procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal system.
- Conduct brain perfusion studies, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions.
- Work with Siemens and GE scanners, specifically the S3000 and Sequoia models.
- Manage a daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms.
- Provide care for patients in the emergency department, including code stroke and trauma cases.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technician.
- Experience as a traveler.
- Proficiency in using GE and Siemens scanners.
- Experience with inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings.
- CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction
- BLS certification.
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in outpatient settings.
- IV start skills.
- Experience with PACS and Visage systems.
- Experience administering contrast.
Special Considerations:
- No RTO is allowed after booking and cannot be worked out onsite.
- Call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation.
- The role is in a very fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Some trauma cases are involved.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour night shifts from 19:45 - 08:15.
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- No call or float requirements.
- The start date is subject to change based on class and trainer availability.
