Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Responsibilities:

• Perform medication administration as assigned by and under the supervision of a nurse.
• Inform clinical supervisor of changes in client’s conditions.
• Document care given, observations and treatments.
• Comply with policies and procedures of facility.
• Ensure that facility and client’s equipment, supplies and belongings are safeguarded.
• Taking and recording BP, temperature, pulse and respiration.
• Maintaining clean and safe environment for clients.
• Ensure and protect clients’ rights and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:­

• Certified CMT in FL
• C.N.A. License
• Minimum (1) year of experience dispensing meds in a facility
