Are you a customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Call Center Agent to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and caregivers, providing exceptional assistance and ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and care.
What You'll Do:
Handle and triage inbound calls in a high-volume call center.
Assist patients and caregivers with inquiries, offering timely and professional support.
Direct patient requests to the appropriate clinical staff efficiently.
Accurately enter patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system.
Recognize and escalate complex issues to the Call Center Team Lead or Manager as needed.
Stay informed about provider schedules, clinic updates, and office protocols.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of experience in medical office administration preferred.
Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Analytical skills to assess data and resolve complex issues.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and workload.
Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance practices, and medical billing procedures is a plus.
Experience with medical scheduling or billing systems preferred.
Outstanding customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic records systems preferred.
Strong data entry skills with a demonstrated typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
