CAD Designer – Port Allen

FULL-TIME

$25/Hr +

Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is seeking a CAD Designer for a local manufacturing company in Port Allen. The primary responsibility will be using AutoCAD for 2D drafting of various custom parts and components.

**RESPONSIBILITIES : **

• Prepare and update 2D technical drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD.

• Translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed drawings.

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.

• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for current and future reference.

• Assist with revisions and modifications as needed during project development.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required; 3D experience a plus).

• Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of drafting standards and technical drawing conventions.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
