Position Overview

Seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with a minimum of 2 years' experience representing creditors in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of secured creditor issues, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote opportunity with collaboration across senior management and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent creditors in bankruptcy and insolvency matters

• Prepare and file necessary legal documents in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts using CM/ECF

• Provide legal guidance on secured creditor issues and bankruptcy-related matters

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and senior management

• Manage multiple cases efficiently while ensuring compliance and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to the North Carolina bar, including State, Federal, and Bankruptcy courts

• CM/ECF filing credentials

• Minimum 2 years' experience representing creditors in bankruptcy/insolvency matters

• Strong knowledge of secured creditor issues

• Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with senior management and cross-functional teams
