Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team in Columbus, OH . This is a Contract opportunity designed for a technical expert capable of supplementing cloud infrastructure and driving CI/CD pipeline initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, specifically focusing on automating infrastructure provisioning, managing application deployments, and supporting critical data platform services. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Management: Maintain, enforce, and recommend improvements to existing CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions .
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Bicep .
• Mentorship: Provide training sessions and knowledge transfer to full-time staff regarding IaC best practices.
• Containerization: Deploy and manage containerized applications within the Azure environment (e.g., AKS , ACI).
• Data Services Automation: Develop and maintain automation workflows for CosmosDB , Azure Data Factory , and other Azure services.
• Collaboration: Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Development teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Operations: Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure all DevOps processes adhere to security and compliance standards.

• Azure DevOps: 5+ Years
• GitHub: 5+ Years
• Bicep: 5+ Years
• Terraform: 5+ Years
• Azure Cloud Services (e.g., Data Factory, CosmosDB): 5+ Years
• AKS Container Deployment: 5+ Years
• Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Bash): 5+ Years

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working in a Hybrid Cloud/On-Prem environment (5+ Years).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (5+ Years).
