Chocolate Production / Pastry Chef Assistant
We are seeking a Prep Cook to process cacao (tempering, molding, and storing chocolate) while upholding Dark Matter Coffee's quality standards. Responsibilities include inventory management, order fulfillment, food preparation, and standard kitchen prep. Effective time management and self-motivation are essential.
Candidates should have two years of kitchen or pastry experience and strong organizational skills. The role requires the ability to climb stairs/ladders, lift/move up to 60 pounds, and stand for 8-hour shifts. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
Employment Details:
This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position (20-25 hours/week) with a starting pay of $20/hr. We offer comprehensive subsidized medical benefits, including medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, life insurance, critical illness, accident coverage, transit benefits, and 401k.
